Designs for similar mirror frames carved with ribbon-tied branches and flowerheads were published by many leading furniture makers of the 18th century. A related pair of mirrors from the collection of Patricia Kluge sold Sotheby’s, New York, 8-9 June 2010, lot 486 ($72,100 including premium).
