Specialist note

The "Toledo 1952" is a re-edition of Vacheron Constantin's celebrated "Cioccolatone" model, originally launched in the early 1950s. It is distinguished by its large pink gold square-shaped case which is prominent when worn on the wrist. The dial features a triple date indication whereby the day and month are indicated in the the double window near 12 o'clock and the date to the outer edge of the dial. The present watch interests the modern collector with its more unusual design of both case and dial.
