Specialist note
One of the most appreciated and well known vintage watches by Patek Philippe, reference 570 was Introduced in 1938 as a larger version of the reference 96 and remained in production until 1972. With a 35.5 mm. diameter, it was quite a large watch for the time, but it is a size that has aged incredibly well and is perfectly proportioned for the modern wrist. Combining this with the minimalist aesthetics and the standard 20 mm. lug width, the reference 570 can be adapted to almost any occasion.
The presently offered 570G is in a near perfect case with crisp hallmarks and no signs of polishing. The dial is wonderfully preserved with raised hard enamel and exquisite raised pearl minute markers. The 27 SC centre seconds movement further distinguished this fine watch, a specimen example of second series 570.
