Specialist note

Introduced in 1949, the reference 2452 was immediately distinguished by its highly attractive fluted lugs giving a striking aesthetic to the design. Those examples produced earlier on were fitted with calibre 10-200, while later modes contained the calibre 12-400 and it was produced in both yellow and pink gold. This particular example is being offered by a distinguished Asian collector and is notable for its excellent case condition really accentuating the unusual fluted lugs of this reference.
