ROLEX. A VERY FINE AND RARE STAINLESS STEEL CHRONOGRAPH WRISTWATCH WITH BRACELET AND CONFIRMATION OF SALE LETTER FROM TIFFANY & CO., NEW YORK

Of paramount importance, the present timepiece is an excellent and extremely rare example of the Rolex manual wound chronograph reference 6265. Staying true to earlier chronograph references of the manufacture, the 6265 was produced until the end of the 1980s with the Valjoux caliber 727, screw down chronograph pushers and a metallic bezel graduated to 200 units per hours.

Representing the peak of Rolex technical efforts, this peculiar chronograph not only is a rare opportunity for collectors to obtain an example of the reference in such an appealing overall condition, but its rarity is further enhanced through its dial adorned with the prestigious and intact Tiffany & Co. signature. Found bellow the “Oyster Cosmograph” script, the retailer’s signature is confirmed by a supporting Tiffany & Co. letter, attesting of the date of sale on the 6 of November 1982.
