Specialist note
Made for the British Military during World War II, the present watch is engraved with the Broad Arrow mark and G.S.T.P. for “General Service Time Piece”, the issue number and “Ceylon Army”. Ceylon (modern-day Sri Lanka), was a British Crown Colony between 1802 and 1948.
