Specialist note

Part of the same private collection for almost fifteen years, the present watch is very attractive and its relatively large size makes it a very wearable vintage piece. Examples of large two-colour gold hinged wristwatches by Patek Philippe are extremely rare.

A similar example is illustrated in: Patek Philippe Wristwatches, Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, 2nd edition, p. 117.
Other examples of two-colour gold wristwatches from the same period are illustrated in: Patek Philippe Watches – Vol. II, Patek Philippe Museum, 2013, pp. 181-182.
