AN AMERICAN 8MM ‘INSTANT HOME MOVIE’ PROJECTOR

The side of the box is inscribed Walter Wanger and in a different hand Grand Hotel/Rome. Walter Wanger was producer for the 1963 epic Cleopatra, which was partly shot at Cinecittà Studios in Rome. Sean Hepburn Ferrer has suggested that the projector may have been lent by his parents to Mr Wanger to watch the production dailies for the film.
