JF MUGNIER, MUSIGNY
Frederic Mugnier renders superbly concentrated wines utilizing significant new oak and long, cold macerations. His wines are fragrant with sweet fruit and toast from an early yet with balance, mineral, earth and great aging potential. Though his vineyard holdings are relatively small throughout Chambolle, Mugnier is the second largest owner of Musigny after de Vogüé and has some of the best sections.
