Specialist note

Lacquered dials of vibrant colors, such as this one, are known among collectors as "Stella" dials from the Italian word for star. The present "Stella" reference 1803 is a particularly appealing example with the deep green lacquered dial set against an 18k yellow gold case, creating an iconic 1970s timepiece. The original guarantee which accompanies the watch is stamped by Madrid retailer Union Relojera Suiza in 1976 and is also accompanied by a note from the same retailer in 1993, which further confirms the present watch.
