Specialist note

The present Rolex clock was possibly used by retailers in a English-speaking country for timing purposes. Often, these highly-accurate clocks were provided by Rolex for customers in watch stores to be able to use to set their watches and had phrases such as “Time to the Second”, such as the present example, or “La Hora al Segundo” for Spanish-speaking countries.
