Specialist note

The reference 3800 was produced from 1981 to 2006. Known as the "three-quarter" size Nautilus model, it differs from its big brother, the reference 3700, by its smaller size and center seconds. The present example features a 'sigma' dial indicating that the baton numerals are made of 18k white gold. For an example in 18k white gold, please see Lot 105 in this sale.
