MOVEMENT: Manual, 17 Jewels
DIAL: Slivered, Arabic numerals, two subsidiary dials for constant seconds and 30 minutes
CASE: Stainless steel, screw back, screw down crown, two chronograph pushers, 29 mm. wide.
STRAP/BUCKLE: Unsigned light brown leather strap, unsigned buckle
ACCOMPANIED BY: Rolex fitted presentation box.

Specialist note

It appears that reference 3481 was the Rolex's first Oyster chronograph, featuring a two-body screwed case and a diameter of just less than 30 mm. Very few examples of this reference have been made.
