A SWISS 'BLACK FOREST' STAINED LINDENWOOD MUSICAL FLOOR STANDING CLOCK
CIRCA 1870
Carved with a family of bears, the musical movement playing various airs, including 'God Save the Queen'
79 in. (200.7 cm.) high

Note du spécialiste

This clock was almost certainly made as a special commission. Besides the characterful carving of the bears, it is rare to find both a clock and a music box together.
