Patek Philippe. A Stainless Steel and Gold Automatic Wristwatch with Date and Bracelet

Reference 3700/11AJ was first introduced in 1980. The estimated total production of this model in the steel and gold two-tone variation is estimated at only 200 examples and is believed to be rarer than its two-toned predecessor, the 3700/1AJ, where approximately 600 examples were produced. With a case made in the Atelier Reunis workshops, these watches are distinguished for their overall pleasing aesthetic and hand-made dials typically made to order by Stern Frères. The engraved stripes offer a depth and precision that bring the watch to life on well preserved dials, such as the presently offered example. This dial boldly presents its original period correct font and Swiss double APRIOR signature. Furthermore, to the best of our knowledge the present watch has never before been offered in public.
