Dial: Silvered, baton numerals, three subsidiary dials
Case: Stainless steel, screw back, two round buttons in the band, inside case back stamped 6238, 36mm diam.
Strap/Buckle: Associated leather strap, associated stainless steel buckle

Specialist note

Amongst collectors, reference 6238 is often referred to as a "Pre-Daytona" and enjoys today growing popularity within the community of Rolex collectors. Launched in circa 1960, reference 6238 was the company's last traditional chronograph wristwatch with polished bezel. Clearly designed as a sport watch, the reference 6238 maintains, thanks to his case proportions, a very refined yet masculine look.

The present watch features a charismatic starburst silver dial and is in exceptional condition.
