Lange & Söhne first introduced the Cabaret in 1997. The model features a rectangular case and movement which reveals the geometrical elegance of the Art Deco style from the 1920s and 30s. Twelve years after, in 2009, A. Lange & Söhne launched the present special edition to pay tribute to A. Lange & Söhne's connoisseurs and enthusiasts, the “Lange Owners’ Group” or LOG.
The present watch is numbered 8 of the strictly limited edition of 25 examples, each individually serial numbered. Exclusively available in white gold, and distinguished by special features such as the grey dial, the relief engraving on the case back, the hand-engraved balance bridge, and the two movement cocks in white gold, the "Lange Cabaret LOG" consolidates the personal relationship between the manufacture and its collectors. To gain access to this edition, passion of watch collecting superseded pecuniary affluence, as collectors were subjected to an extremely stringent selection based on their collection, horological interests and collecting criteria.
