Specialist note

The Legacy Machine No. 1/LM1 is the first Machine in an entirely new line of watches from MB&F crafted with respect to the traditional core values of watchmaking. One of the striking features of the LM1 is the location of the balance wheel. Instead of its standard position at the back of the watch, the large 14 mm. diameter “flying” wheel floats above the movement and dials. Other main features include the world’s first vertical power reserve indicator, a subtle MB&F touch that brings us back to the future, and the completely independent dual time zones where the hours and the minutes on each of the two sub dials can be set completely independently of each other. LM1 was awarded the Public Prize (voted by watch lovers) and the Best Men’s Watch Prize (voted by the jury) at the 2012 Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève.
