MOVEMENT: Manual, Cal. UN-201, 28 jewels, patented dual direct escapement
DIAL: Blue matte, silvered Arabic numerals on crystal chapter ring, upper bridge with pavé-set diamond arrowhead fitted with the balance wheel and the dual direct escapement as the minute hand, a similar arrangement mounted below for the hour hand
CASE: Platinum, pavé-set diamond bi-directional bezel for setting the time, 28'800 V/h plaque below the bezel flips up to allow the bezel to rotate to set the time, pavé-set diamond lugs, band engraved 63/99, unidirectional rotating glazed display back with ridged crown for winding and revealing the mainspring, 44 mm. diam.

Specialist note

The ingenious and unusual design of the 7-Day Carrousel Tourbillon allows its owner to set and wind the watch without a crown and enables him to read time without preserving the design of traditional hands. It is also the first timepiece ever produced featuring an escapement etched out of polycrystalline cultured diamond. This material neither expands nor contracts and is free from electric and magnetic influences.
