CASE: 18k gold tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type case, bi-directional rotating baguette-cut ruby and sapphire-set bezel with diamond-set numerals, pavé-set diamond lugs and crown guard, screw back, screw down crown, 40 mm. diam.
BRACELET/CLASP: 18k gold Rolex Oyster bracelet and concealed deployant clasp, overall length approximately 200 mm.

Specialist note

The GMT-Master II featuring an entirely redesigned case, a larger winding crown, a revised dial with modified indexes and green "GMT-Master II" signature was launched at the Baselworld 2006, year of the 50th anniversary of this celebrated dual time wristwatch.

The present watch is from the series of three precious stone-set GMT-Master II models, introduced at the same time. It is distinguished by its diamond, sapphire and ruby-set bezel, a tribute to the blue and red coloured bakelite bezel of the first GMT Master model launched in 1956.
