A PAIR OF FRENCH MAHOGANY AND SILVER-PLATED DINING TROLLEYS
BELGIAN, EARLY 20TH CENTURY
One for roasts with a hinged dome. The other with a lift out tray stamped 'PALACE HOTEL MENTHON' and with the maker's mark of 'Wiskemann Fabr Belg' to the tray; it also has twelve plated dished all marked by Wiskemann.
The meat trolley has a domed hinged top inscribed 'ORFEVRERIE WISKEMANN BRUXELLES' it has a heated tray with the rivulets for the juices and at present a pierced flat dish which clips on top, it has twin lift out pots which happen to contain two lidded pots and a paraffin heater and there is a paraffin heater below the top and a hole where hot water can be poured in.
