MOVEMENT: manual, cal. 72, 17 jewels
DIAL: white, matte, applied dagger numerals, luminous accents, luminous hands, fifth of a second combined with Arabic five minutes divisions, blue telemetre scale, outer tachymetre scale calibrated for 1 mile and graduated to 1000 MPH, three sunken engine-turned subsidiary dials for constant seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hours registers
CASE: stainless steel, tonneau-shaped, screw back engraved “M.J.C.”, screw down crown, two round chronograph buttons in the band, 36 mm. diam.
SIGNED: case, dial and movement
BRACELET/CLASP: stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet, approx. 175 mm.

Preceding the Cosmograph Daytona family of watches, the Oyster chronograph reference 6234 is one of Rolex's most timeless watches, effortlessly combining a sporty look with elegant, understated flair.

The present piece is offered in outstanding condition, the dial absolutely untouched, perfectly preserved and with the luminous material evenly aged to an attractive camel hue.The ROW stamp on the movement of this example indicates the American market as original destination for the piece, perfectly fitting the miles graduation of the scales.
