Specialist note

The present Submariner wristwatch is distinguished by its rare "diamond and sapphire indexes" dial variation and the close to new condition, still retaining its green sticker on the case back. Consigned by the original owner, the collectability of this watch is further amplified by the fact that it was retailed by the renowned jeweller Astrua in Turin.
