MOVEMENT: manual, cal. 722-1, 17 jewels
DIAL: blacK, applied gold baton numerals with luminous accents, luminous hands, three engine-turned subsidiary gilt dials for constant seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hours registers
CASE: 18K gold, bezel calibrated for 200 units, screw back with engraved facsimile inscription reading Simon, 27-X-73, screw down crown, two round chronograph buttons in the band, 36 mm. diam.
SIGNED: case, dial and movement
BRACELET/CLASP: 18K gold Rolex Oyster bracelet and deployant clasp stamped 3.69, overall approximate length 190 mm.
ACCOMPANIED BY: original Rolex Garantía stamped by the retailer Malde Arbones and dated 17 September 1973, period Rolex Cosmógrafo brochure, original fitted presentation box


Specialist note

The present reference 6239 is a particularly appealing example of the legendary "Cosmograph Daytona", distinguished by its very good original overall condition, still retaining the original bracelet dating from 1969, the original guarantee, brochure and box, all rarities by themselves.

Consigned by descendants of the original owner the watch is furthermore fresh to the market.
