Specialist note

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 2011 and its subsequent sale on March 9th of the same year. Further accompanied by a Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated April 20th, 2011, product literature, a Patek Philippe leather envelope and outer packaging.

Reference 5170 was launched in 2010 and offers a new look compared to its predecessor reference 5070. The tachymeter scale has been replaced by a pulsation scale, found on some earlier chronographs from the vintage era, but also houses the latest caliber 29-535 PS with Patek Philippe's new hallmark of excellence, the Patek Philippe Seal.

To the best of our knowledge the present watch has never before been offered in public.
