LIN FENGMIAN PAINTINGS PREVIOUSLY IN THE COLLECTION OF XING RUITING
Xing Ruiting (1919-2006), born in Suzhou, was a Suzhou Pingtan master. He studied under then master Xu Yunzhi (1901-1978), and soon performed on Shanghai radio. In the 70’s, he frequently performed in Shanghai, and became acquainted with the Pingtan and Beijing Opera enthusiast Lin Fengmian and received paintings from the artist.
