"Mes peintures sont conçues dans un état d’esprit extrêmement subjectif tout en étant incluses dans des délimitations spartiates. A l’intérieur de ces limites strictes, limites que je me suis moi-même imposées et que j’explore sans aucun regret, j’essaie d’offrir au spectateur une chose à laquelle il puisse réagir subjectivement. Je crois que ce sont des peintures à forte charge émotionnelle, qui ne doivent pas être admirées pour des raisons techniques ou intellectuelles, mais qui doivent être ressenties."

“The paintings are made in a highly subjective state, within Spartan limitations. Within these strict confines, confines which I have painted myself into and intend to explore with no regrets, I try to give the viewer something to which he will react subjectively. I believe these are highly emotional paintings, not to be admired for any technical or intellectual reason, but to be felt.”
