Specialist note

A fine and interesting example of partnership between Rolex and an external organization, the present piece was made for the insurance company American Heritage, today part of Allstate Insurance Group.

Such bespoken ref. 1002 were awarded to employees selling $3,000 worth of insurance, as the “$3000” designation on the dial suggests. The peculiar American Heritage logo – a man holding a shotgun – makes these rare piece most probably the only Rolex watches featuring an armed man on the dial.
