Specialist note

The present timepiece is distinguished by the crest of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the dial. Prince Khalifa Suleiman Al Khalifa is the world's longest serving Prime Minister having taken office in 1970. He is the paternal uncle of the present King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
