Specialist note

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with silvered dial and applied gold hour markers in 1945 and its subsequent sale on 28 June 1945.

To the best of our knowledge this reference 1569 has never been offered in public before.

Reference 1569 was launched in 1943 and remained in production until around 1949. It was available in yellow and pink gold and is one of the rare watches of the period with a diameter exceeding 35 mm.

To date, less than 20 examples of reference 1569 in yellow gold have appeared in public.
