"Deep orange color, rich complex nose. Fresh citrus aromas, fine old wood furniture tones. With air it develops a fine Napoleon Cognac nose, sweet, rich, and gorgeous, and not as alcoholic as a Cognac. Lovely flavor, full intense and well balanced, like a well matured fine Petite Champagne Cognac. Medium sweet, intense on the attach, with notes of dried oranges. Richer than you would expect from a Verdelho. The acidity is well integrated. This is a fine soft, styled Verdelho. Very good. 19/20." EV, July 2015.
