Note du spécialiste
Lachasse, established in 1928, was one of London's most accomplished fashion houses, gaining fame in the 1940's for their sharp tailoring and counted many society ladies amongst their clientele, such as Edwina, Countess Mountbatten of Burma. Lady Thatcher was photographed wearing this coat with Sir Denis, circa 2002.
