A SCARLET WOOL COAT

Mrs. Thatcher was photographed wearing this coat during a visit to the USA in 1996. Mrs. Thatcher rarely wore red in the United Kingdom, because of its political connotations, however, she frequently wore the colour while travelling abroad especially in the United States of America.
