Cal. 910 mechanical movement, 17 jewels, gilt dial, applied baton numerals, luminous hands, bright orange chronograph hand, three subsidiary dials for 24 hour combined with day/night indication, 12 hour and 30 minute registers, blue aircraft form hand for the second time, outer revolving chapter ring calibrated for 60 units, tonneau-shaped water-resistant type case, screw down crown, two chronograph buttons in the band, two crowns with blue and black inlays for adjusting the second time zone and the revolving bezel in the left band, screw back engraved an aircraft symbol and Flightmaster, 18k gold Omega bracelet with deployant clasp, case, dial and movement signed

Specialist note

Omega’s celebrated “Speedmaster” launched in 1969 is unquestionably one of the firm’s most popular models ever made. It is however much less known that in the same year, another icon saw the light of the day: the “Flightmaster”, a manually wound dual time chronograph, designed as the ultimate pilot’s watch of the time.

The Flightmaster model in gold is amongst the rarest watches ever made by Omega. According to literature, the model was made in a limited but not numbered series of 200 examples, however only 20 were fitted with a gold bracelet, as in the case of the present watch.
