"The nose, as is typical of complex Madeiras, needed time to fully present itself. Redolent of fudge, cane sugar, old furniture, this is a soft, finely sweet Madeira. The intense, sweet-focused aromas also recall cinnamon and apple pie filling. A nice Malvasia. 17/20. EV, July 2015.
