The body applied in low relief with figures of the Twelve Apostles flanked by lily-of-the-valley between foliate and scroll borders, the footrim inscribed CHRISTOPH SCHERTE.L.1661., the handle moulded with a female bust and lion mask and painted below with a coat of arms (flat chip to underside of base, slight chipping to footrim, minor wear to enamels, mounts slightly loose)
