W. & H. Perry, a leading English manufacturer of chandeliers was founded by William Parker in 1756. As one of London's most eminent glass manufacturers they provided fittings for Royal residences, Goldsmith's Hall and for Devonshire House. Fittings supplied to the Duke of Devonshire were later incorporated into the interiors of Chatsworth. A large pair of candelabra located in the Wyatville Dining Room, Chatsworth display many similar elements to the present pair.
