Specialist note

The graffiti exhibition in 1982 at Museum Boymans van Beuningen, Rotterdam, and the enthusiasm of art dealer Yaki Kornblit introduced graffiti art in the Netherlands. Martin Visser became an avid collector of this art form. The anti-art attitude of the graffiti writers and their vitality and impulsive and non-conformist way of working was much to Visser's liking.
