Specialist note

According to the Archives of Ulysse Nardin the present watch was manufactured in 1993.

Launched in the 1980s, Ulysse Nardin's San Marco paid tribute to late 17th century watchmaking by creating minute repeating watches combined with an automaton, the dials featuring jacquemarts, a world's premiere. Rolf Schnyder, owner of Ulysse Nardin at the time, commissioned the renowned watchmaker Christophe Clarets with the development of the movements, launching the firm's tradition of producing complicated automated wristwatches, made in limited editions only.
