Each modeled as a cockerel, the body of each decorated overall with scrolling foliage and painted allegorical reserves, on similarly-decorated circular spreading foot, stamped HB, with further Austrian control mark
16 ¾ in. (43 cm.) high

These highly unusual decanters are most closely related to a pair of double-headed bird-form cups and covers sold at Christie's, London, 30 September 2004, lots 143 and 144 (£45,410, each).
