Inlaid overall with floral marquetry panels, the rectangular top above a cushion drawer and two doors lined with leather panels to the reverse enclosing a fitted interior with an arrangement of drawers around a central door, above a long drawer simulating two short drawers fitted with a later writing surface, above three further drawers and on bracket feet, the veneers and marquetry apparently original, restorations, the secretaire drawer later altered
