Kaye Donachie (B. 1970)

In Do you feel my love my grief. Just a breath, just an echo Kaye Donachie constructs a twilit scene in which an impish female figure sits at a distance, visible as a glowing emanation below a darkly arching bridge. A reflection of Donachie’s interest in poetic visions of landscape, the painting has a timeless aura whilst celebrating youth culture thereby creating a direct dialogue with the contemporary.
