Specialist note

In his 1992 edition for Parkett, Richard Prince references one of his best-known and most controversial works. The neon marquee in the image spells out “Spiritual America,” which is the name of the artist’s 1983 appropriated photograph of a nude, pre-pubescent Brooke Shields.
