The white king stamped 'JAQUES, LONDON', one knight from each side stamped with a crown, the carton pierre box with red label to the underside printed 'THE STAUNTON CHESS-MEN Registered No. 58,607 5 & 6 Vic Cap. 100 IVORY' with Howard Staunton facsimile signature and 'JAQUES LONDON'
The king -- 2 7/8 in. (7.5 cm.) high; the pawn - 1 ½ in. (4 cm.) high
