On octafoil domed foot, the stem formed as a winged putto with laurel wreath with foliage calyx above, the octafoil bowl chased with flowers and foliage on the exterior and interior, the underside of the foot applied with circular plaque later engraved with an inscription, marked near rim and on foot, later engraved with an inventory number and scratchweight 'No 87 14 7/8'

The inscription records the presentation of the cup to the Clothmakers' Guild by Johann Daniel Haak in 1715 on being taken on as an apprentice.
