Each bowl is gilt and enamelled to the exterior with four roundels containing the characters fu lu shou xi, reserved on a iron-red and yellow diaper ground, the interiors are decorated with floral scrolls and double gourds on an iron-red ground and the bases are enamelled with precious objects
