Specialist note

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with Breguet numerals 1942 and its subsequent sale on October 25th of the following year.

Reference 1440 was launched in 1939 and produced until the early 1940's in yellow gold or stainless steel. Less than 10 of this reference have been identified from the market so far.

To the best of our knowledge this watch has never before been offered in public.
