Each leaf inscribed and signed, with a total of twenty-six seals of the artist
One leaf dated winter, wuwu year (1978)
One leaf dedicated to Qingchong
Colophons by Qian Juntao(1906-1998) and Tang Yun (1910-1993), with a total of three seals.
Album of sixteen leaves, ink and colour on paper
Each leaf measures 27 x 35.5 cm.(10 5/8 x 14 in.)

Specialist note

The recipient of the painting is Zhang Qingchong (1910-1992), a native of Fujian. He ran a shipping business after he left China in 1929. He enjoyed collecting Chinese paintings and travelling far and wide in the late 70's to meet with artists.
