VARIOUS DATES AND MAKERS, PRINCIPALLY MID TO LATE 18TH CENTURY, BUT INCLUDING ONE PAIR EARLY 19TH CENTURY, AND SEVEN UNMARKED EXAMPLES
Mostly chased with rococo decoration, and comprising:- a shaped oval pair chased with crowned imperial double-headed eagle to each side and inscribed to front with crowned initials ME within a wreath; a good octagonal example with floral and diaperwork chasing and rococo handle; three other shaped oval ones and another of circular slightly tapering form; the unmarked examples comprising:- a good pair with rocailles chasing, two circular slightly tapering examples, one whose base is inscribed SP (Cyrillic) above a wreath; and three others
