The octagonal shaped case inset with a table-cut synthetic ruby cover, revealing the hands and skeletonised movement beneath, to a calibré ruby bezel, case sides and similarly-set crown, mechanical movement, circa 1980-82, French marks for gold, case 2.9cm wide

Specialist note

Designed as a special commission, only four versions of this wristwatch were ever made, each different, set with emeralds, sapphires, diamonds and rubies respectively.


Please note that the strap for the above watch may be made of endangered or protected animal materials, such as crocodile, it is not sold with the watch but is for display purposes only. Christie's will remove and retain the strap prior to collection by the purchaser.
